The Qatar International Circuit is located in Al Dhakira, Qatar, 60 kilometers away from the capital Doha.

Since 2004 Al Dhakira hosted the season opener, since 2014 it's a night race. First winner was Sebastian Hühnen, Francesco Cavala and Michel Krapitz are the most successful driver with 3 wins each.

The cars reach 250 km/h as they break hard into the first corner. Uphill the cars again reach high speed with 225 km/h, slow down to 65 km/h into turn 3. After some twisty turns, the last corner, Turn 9, you have to carry as much speed as possible for the Start-Finish-Straight.
